Curiosity, carefully kept.
Dragon Field Notes is an independent reading-guide project exploring dragons, riders, and fictional worlds. Finding a detail shouldn’t cost you the next plot twist.
Our first collection
We currently explore Fourth Wing and The Empyrean. This is our starting collection; guides to other fictional worlds will be added only when there is substantive material to publish.
What this project does
We organize dragon terminology, selected character records and reading notes into a small, navigable field guide. The drawings are original schematic illustrations. They are not official artwork.
What we can substantiate
The launch collection is compiled from the linked secondary references and the author’s publication information. It has not undergone a complete chapter-level review of the novels. We label gaps instead of implying exhaustive coverage or specialist credentials.
Human judgment still matters
This site was developed with AI assistance. That does not make a statement authoritative. Check the source notes, and use the correction report if you find a mismatch. We do not claim an editorial team, author endorsement or linguistic expertise.
Our priorities
- Make color, tail and individual identity easy to distinguish.
- Keep later-book details behind an explicit reading choice.
- Separate sourced facts, interpretation and invented quiz content.
- Leave unknown details unknown.
