Reading a size comparison
A statement about height, overall size or wingspan should retain that distinction. Where a source only says “larger,” this guide preserves the broad comparison instead of converting it into meters or estimating from artwork.

Two large dragons
Both reviewed guides place Codagh above Tairn in size. Their different tails remain separate identifying features: Codagh is a swordtail and Tairn a morningstartail. A larger body does not turn one tail type into another.

Comparisons within a group
Deigh is described as large for a red daggertail. That narrower comparison does not establish his position against all black, blue or brown dragons. Read the group named in the comparison before treating it as a series-wide ranking.

Growth changes the comparison
Andarna’s first-book size should not be carried forward unchanged. Her growth after the Dreamless Sleep changes her body, while incomplete wing development limits what that larger body can do. Size and carrying ability are separate questions.
